Ko Yao Yai (pronounced “KOW-yoo”) is a small Thai island off the Andaman Sea. It is characterized by rugged sandy beaches, mangrove forests, palm plantations and fishing villages dotting the surrounding landscape. Other than these, the surrounding waters are also rich in mangrove forests and dotted with offshore dive sites, such as the King cruiser Wreck in Anemone Reef.
